Start of it All: Rachel Zoe was introduced to the fashion world by her parents and was influenced by her mother's exquisite collection of vintage designer pieces. Just like anyone who has an undying passion for fashion, Rachel moved to NYC and started her journey as a fashion assistant for YM Magazine and in a short period of time was promoted to the very top as senior editor. After about a decade Rachel decided to move her work to Los Angeles to collide the world of fashion and hollywood as a highly sought out stylist.

Styling The Stars: Rachel Zoe's styling career really took off when she styled Jennifer Garner in a fiery orange Valentino gown for the 2004 Academy Awards. Since then Rachel has been styling A-list stars such as Demi Moore and my personal favourite Anne Hathaway for high profile events in both old hollywood designer pieces and new fresh off the runway looks.

Becoming a Star: As a determined, ambitious and successful career women Rachel was quickly recognized for her work on red carpets and prestigious events. She was invited to guest judge for T.V. shows such as America's Next Top Model and Project Runway. She also has a privileged relationship with designers such as Marc Jacobs and Michael Kors who give her access to even the rarest of gowns! In addition in 2007 Rachel gave the rest of the world an insider to her styling genius through her best selling book Style A to Zoe: The Art of Fashion, Beauty and Everything Glamour making her even more successful than I bet she even imagined!

Taking Reality TV and Motherhood Head-On: As many of you know from one of my previous posts Rachel Zoe's career and life is documented on a hit reality TV show suitability titled The Rachel Zoe Project. there we get to see a sneak peak into the glamourous yet stressful life of a stylist, following Rachel, her two assistants and business partner who also happens to be her husband. With this window into The Zoe Camp's very demanding lifestyle we also get a glimpse of her absolutely adorable and veeery fashion forward son, Skyler. Now I don't do this often but I must take the words out of Rachel's mouth and just say "I DIE" whenever I see how perfectly dressed he is!!

What's Next for R.Z. You Say?: Just when you think "this girl has done it all, what more can she do?", Rachel surprises the world by starting her own accessories line in 2009 and shortly after by creating not one but three online newsletters (The Zoe Report, Zoe beautiful and AccessZOEries) to respond to the world's demand for fashionable tips and tricks. In 2011 Rachel took a greater leap into the fashion industry and started her own clothing line which as you can see is elegant, fresh and timeless to say the least. In addition to all of the successful ventures, Rachel has also launched her own high end jewellery line which just like her clothing label is inspired by vintage pieces. Rachel also has many more innovative ventures coming out such as two New York based hair salons that I believe will take the world by storm and add on to the already impressive fashion empire she has created for herself!
